How Our Clients Use the Postcard Program

Understanding the optimal use of our promotional postcards has been a collaborative effort between our creative department and sales staff, and our many successful customers. For years, we have happily exchanged information on the seemingly endless ways to use these cards:

1. To attract new business from a targeted group of prospects, through monthly mailings.
2. As an easy and gracious way to stay in touch with past clients. This approach has been successful in nurturing and maintaining client loyalty, resulting in repeat and new referral business.
3. As a friendly way to remind your sphere of influence of what you do, while giving them a useful postcard to enjoy.

5. As a handout at a seminar you're involved in, and for a follow up mailing to attendees.
6. Note: Handing out postcards are a postage-free way to reach beyond your mailing list. Some additional ideas:
   • At restaurants, leave a recipe card along with your tip. Your server or someone they know might very well turn out to be a new client or referral source. She or he will appreciate your thoughtfulness, and will remember you.
   • Ask people you know who interface with the public (your pediatrician, dentist, lawyer, children's teacher, PTA event chairman, Market Day coordinator) if you can drop off a stack of your postcards (ie. "Cooking with Kids" cards, "Wander the Web", "Humorous Animals", etc.) to be placed in the (ie. pediatrician's waiting room) as free, fun and useful cards for people to take. These cards are a refreshing solution to the "waiting room blah's."
   • Hand out your postcards at networking functions as a unique business card by itself, or given along with your business card to make yourself even more memorable.
7. As a Gift Set:
   • A set of 12 different recipe cards tied with ribbon as a referral thank you gift.
   • We know of Realtors who routinely include a gift set of their postcards in their listing presentation folder given to the homeowner at the end of the presentation.
